As early as 1919, well before the advent of consumer television and video technology, Thomas Wilfred began experimenting with light as his primary artistic medium, developing the means to control and project colorful, luminous forms that have been compared to the aurora borealis.

Wilfred’s work will be on display in the museum, 21st Century Consort presents this luminous coordinated musical program for two pianos with Lisa Emenheiser and Lura Johnson.

Celebrate the colors of fall, from pumpkins to brightly colored leaves, with a woodwind trio of BSO musicians.

Give your budding music lover the chance to explore music through this highly engaging and interactive performance. The half-hour lobby concert features the musical talents of a small ensemble of BSO musicians performing classical and children’s songs to develop musicality, creativity, coordination and literacy.

30 minutes prior to the concert the lobby fills with a range of musical, creative and fun activities for babies and families.

Please note: Attendees of all ages are required to have a ticket. Concerts take place in the lobby and seating is unreserved.
