Our 2024 concert, Migrations in Rhythm: Concerto for Beatbox and Rhyme, integrates music styles from around the world, including Africa, Ireland, Brazil, and Cuba.

Students will experience a blend of classical music, beatboxing, and spoken word performed by the Delaware Symphony Orchestra and Grammy®-nominated hip-hop artist Christylez and guest conductor John Gennaro Devlin.

Performances will be May 21, 2024 at 9:45am and 12:00pm at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington and May 22, 2024 at 12:00pm at Dover High School in Dover. Ticket cost is $7 per person. Title I Schools receive a discounted ticket rate of $3 per person. This concert is best suited for students Grades 2 through 5 (although all ages are welcome), including homeschool educators and students.
